I love photography, but at heart I am a camera buff. Just like many of you, I love my cameras and lenses! I have used almost everything out there and this page was created to share my experiences with them.

There won’t be much in the way of “in-depth” reviews, but rather images and thoughts on the various cameras and lenses I have used over the years.

I’ve enjoyed all the equipment that will be profiled here. This is a tribute to them. This is the place where the cameras are the legends.

  1. Hello Sam
    Interesting thoughts on your blog.
Thank you for following and liking so many of my pictures.
I have also fund out that older digital cameras render black and white images beautifully. The images have a nearly analog look. My first digital camera was a Sony DSC-W30 and I loved this camera back in the days and I still post images from this time. For me it is not so important what kind of camera I use, but they need to be light weighted and small, that they are easy to cary around…

    1. Hi Jens, thanks so much for your comments and sharing your experiences. I totally agree with you on the way these older digital cameras render images! They may not have the punchy colors and sharpness of today’s cameras, but they do have a now “vintage” look that I enjoy. Thanks for stopping by and keep up the good work on your great blog! Best Regards, Sam

  2. Hey Sam!

I wanted to let you know about a new Film Photography book just released by Rocky Nook – http://www.rockynook.com/shop/photography/the-film-photography-handbook/

The book covers everything a photographer needs to master the craft of film photography. Needless to say, I think that this book would be a great fit for your audiences and I would love to send you a copy for review. If you’re interested, we could work together to run an excerpt on your blog, host a giveaway, and even create an exclusive coupon code for your readers.

Thanks so much and I look forward to hearing from you!
