“Aging” 2026. Mystery Camera to be revealed in future episodes 😍

The first two shots were taken with the Nikon D1 2.7mp DSLR from 1999. People often refer to the Nikon D1 as Nikon’s first DSLR. Are they wrong? Well, yes and no. It’s not technically Nikon’s first DSLR as they had collaborations with Fuji and Kodak going back to the early 1990s. However it is Nikon’s first “from the ground up” Nikon built and designed DSLR.

The D1 was one of my favorite cameras back in the day and at one point I had like ten of them! 😂 But that’s a story for another day.

These days I shoot it when nostalgia hits and it still delivers surprisingly nice photos!

I’ve been taking boring Zen like photos recently. I think photography is highly reflective of one’s mood and I must be in a reflective mood 😂

The camera and lens are to be revealed in future episodes. I wanted to say the gear doesn’t matter and do like the late great George Michael when he put out an album called “listen without prejudice” and then the critics bashed him saying the title and the notion was pretentious. Can’t win! 😂❤️
